Who arranges your insurance

Visa Health Insurance Experts is operated by Stephen Paul Gregory, an individual insurance agent established in Spain.

Our relationship with Sanitas

We are an Exclusive Insurance Agent (agente de seguros exclusivo) of Sanitas S.A. de Seguros. We are registered with the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP) in the Administrative Register of Insurance and Reinsurance Distributors under number C0320Y2155969D. You can check this on the DGSFP website.

As an exclusive agent:

  • we distribute Sanitas health insurance only;
  • we do not compare products from other insurers, and this website is not a whole-market comparison; and
  • we act on behalf of Sanitas, not as an independent broker.

The insurance contract is between you and Sanitas S.A. de Seguros. Under Article 143 of Royal Decree-Law 3/2020, the professional civil liability arising from our insurance-distribution activity is attributed to Sanitas, in accordance with our agency contract.

How we are paid

We are paid by commission from Sanitas, which is included in the premium you pay. You do not pay us a separate distribution fee. On request, we will tell you more about the nature of the commission we receive for your policy.

Your data

When you submit an application, Sanitas becomes an independent data controller for the data processed in its systems. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Complaints

Complaints come to us first. If they are not resolved, you can go to the Sanitas Customer Service Department or Customer Ombudsman, and then, after the applicable internal process, to the DGSFP Complaints Service. See our Complaints Procedure.
